Personal development

Continuous learning and development are among the central goals in the consulting profession. The variety of duties, challenging projects and lean organization all support rapid personal development. Also, August has an extensive training program beginning with the initial induction and ending with high-level management training.

Well-being

Working in consulting is challenging and demanding. That is why August looks after the well-being of its staff through a variety of means:

  • August arranges regular social events for its staff.
  • August Days take place twice a year during which the staff may go skiing in the Alps or Lapland, or sailing along the Helsinki coastline, or attend traditional crayfish dinner parties with spouses invited. It is also possible to participate in various sporting and cultural events as well as gatherings organized by individual project teams.
  • August offers its staff access to many different kinds of sports and other health-enhancing activities.
  • August is flexible when it comes to working hours, so that everyone has a chance to properly spend time with their families and friends.
